Your wealth should not stop at the Indian border

India is a powerful growth story and still a fraction of world market cap. A deliberate global sleeve can harden your portfolio against single-country risk and rupee cycles.

Hedge INR depreciation

Dollar and other hard-currency assets can cushion rupee weakness so your purchasing power is not tied to one exchange rate.

Own categories thin in India

Access world-scale technology, healthcare innovation, and global consumer franchises that are hard to replicate with domestic listings alone.

True diversification

Reduce concentration in India beta. Spread equity risk across regions, sectors, and economic cycles that do not always move together.

Compound in dollars

Participate in the companies and ETFs that shape global capital markets while keeping remittance and tax compliance on a clear path.

What you can invest in

Direct market access for builders who want control, plus advisory guidance when you want a structured allocation, not a tip list.

US stocks & ETFs

NYSE and NASDAQ names, broad index ETFs, and sector funds, executed on Interactive Brokers rails under LRS.

Global equities

Extend beyond the US when it fits your plan: developed and other international markets available through IBKR access.

Guided portfolios

SEBI RIA-led sizing, rebalancing, and tax-aware reporting for HNI families who prefer advice over DIY guesswork.

Your securities sit with Interactive Brokers in segregated customer accounts. iVentures is a SEBI Registered Investment Adviser (INA000019026). We guide onboarding, allocation, and compliance; we do not hold your global stocks on our balance sheet.

  • You own the assets in your brokerage account
  • Bank-grade encryption on data in transit and at rest where applicable
  • Clear LRS / TCS path with documentation support

Important questions about global investing from India

Is it legal to invest in US and global markets from India?

Yes. Indian residents can invest overseas under the Reserve Bank of India's Liberalised Remittance Scheme (LRS), subject to FEMA rules, bank documentation, and Tax Collected at Source (TCS) on eligible remittances.

How much can I remit abroad under LRS each year?

Under LRS, resident individuals can generally remit up to USD 250,000 per financial year for permitted purposes, including overseas portfolio investment. The limit is per person, so family members may each have their own limit.

Who holds my investments and are they in my name?

Global trading and custody are powered by Interactive Brokers. Securities are held in segregated customer accounts in your name, separate from iVentures' balance sheet. Brokerage protections apply as disclosed by Interactive Brokers for eligible accounts.

What does it cost?

Indicative all-in costs are typically about 1.50% to 1.75%, covering FX and platform-related charges; Interactive Brokers brokerage may apply separately per their schedule. Figures are indicative and subject to confirmation on your onboarding call.

How are global investments taxed in India?

Capital gains and dividends from overseas securities are taxable in India under current rules. Source-country withholding (for example on US dividends) may apply and foreign tax credit may be available. Overseas assets generally require Schedule FA disclosure. We help with statements and coordinate with your tax advisor.

How do currency moves affect my returns?

Your INR return includes both asset performance and USD-INR (or other FX) moves. Dollar strength can add to rupee returns; depreciation can reduce them. We discuss whether unhedged or partially hedged exposure fits your goals.

How do I get started?

Book a short call. We complete KYC, guide LRS and TCS documentation with your bank, open your Interactive Brokers-powered account, and help you fund and place your first trades with a clear allocation plan.
